day hike - devil's castle - August 23, 2020
We will top Devil's Castle (10,920 ft), a rugged peak above Alta Ski Resort (if conditions permit). Hike distance and elevation gain will depend on where we start the hike. The hike involves significant scrambling and exposure (Class 3) - not for timid hikers. Bring 10 Es. The location may change depending on conditions. Please email before Friday, 6 pm, Aug 21, for the meeting place and time. Registration is required. Registration priority will be given to WMC members. Registrants will receive more detailed info.
