snow hike (maybe/ may not be snowshoe) - little baldy via dry canyon - February 22, 2020
We plan to summit Little Baldy (7,689 ft) via Dry Canyon. We made the neighboring peak, Big Baldy, on Jan 25, 2020 and were impressed by how beautiful the area was. So we want to make another summit in the area. Bring snowshoes, microspikes and 10Es. Depending on conditions, we may not need use snowshoes. Avalanche safety gear (avalanche beacon, probe and shovel) is not required. This snow hike/ snowshoe will be exploratory. Please email before Friday, 6 pm, February 20, for the meeting place and time. Registration priority will be given to WMC members.
