winter mountaineering - mt. olympus summit - February 22, 2020
Mt. Olympus South summit and back. Should be plenty of parking along the road by the trail head in case the parking lot fills up. Text me at 801-712-0454 so I know your coming. I will limit it to 10 people so only text me if you know for sure you can make it. Ice Ax, crampons/micro spikes and a helmet are a must. Snowshoes could be good depending on snow fall. I just did it, lots of snow up there. Bring clothing layers. If you are new to an ice ax we could go over some things at the saddle. You only need it the last 30 minutes to the top.
