rock climb - high-angle self-rescue 2

High-angle self-rescue for climbing teams, or others on near-vertical terrain that need to get an injured member down. The full program is 4 parts long; each part covers a different aspect, so it is best to show up for all the parts. Helmets required, as with all climbing activities. Also bring your harness, and any rescue gear you climb with. All experience levels are welcome. Those with experience are encouraged to attend to help new participants and refresh those rescue skills. Part 2 will cover ascending a fixed line; parts 3 & 4 cover raising and anchoring, and tandem rappels. There is a $15 suggested donation for the series, which goes to the club for ropes and top rope anchors.
