snowshoe or hike - little mt & beyond, pleasant grove - December 19, 2021
We plan to snowshoe or hike to Little Mt (7176 ft), Indian Trail Rd Hill North (7412 ft), and Point 7613 via Battle Creek TH in Pleasant Grove, weather, conditions and situation permitting. If there is no enough snow for snowshoeing, we will hike. The first half mile is very steep. The majority of the route is on the trail. But there will be some off-trail sections. Also, if the trail is snow-covered, it may be difficult to follow the trail. Please bring 10 Es, microspikes, and snowshoes. Avalanche safety gear (beacon, probe and shovel) not required. Please email before Friday, 6 pm, December 17, for the meeting place and time. Registration is required. Registration priority will be given to WMC members. Registrants will receive more detailed info. Limit 8. COVID-19 protocols will apply.
