silver lake flower hike - July 20, 2022

Join Eileen for a leisurely hike to discover the Brighton wildflowers, Robert Turner will be our guide as we meander on the road above the Brighton ski resort parking lot. We will stop by by the historic Wasatch Mountain Club lodge, then make out way to the Silver Lake board walk to enjoy and learn about the canyon wildflowers. If the Visitors Center at Silver Lake is still open, exhibits there are always fun to look at. For you more adventurous hikers, there are many other trailheads available in the area to continue hiking. We will finish the flower hike and you are free to go on your own. We will meet at the Big Cottonwood Park and Ride at 5:30 pm. Prompt departure at 5:45 pm. We will regroup at the south end of the Brighton Ski Resort parking lot at around 6:15-6:30 for those of you who don't carpool with us. Please text or email me with questions.
