backpack henry's fork and mt powell (uintas) - July 22, 2022
Day 1: Drive to trailhead at about 9400', hike up Henry's Fork to Bear Lake to camp at about 10800'. 6.5 miles, 1400' gain. Day 2: Day hikes. Optional: explore the lakes in the basin, or summit Mt Powell, 13165'. For latter option, 3000' gain (gross), 11-mile loop, off trail. Return to same camp. Day 3: hike out, drive home. For those who prefer just to explore the basin on day 2, this could be an easy backpack
