road bike: short exercise ride: ssl boot loop 22 - July 6, 2022

This is a series of short morning rides to get some exercise without spending a lot of time doing it. Today's ride, the 'SSL Boot Loop 22,' is about 22 miles with about 550 feet of elevation gain. The elevation gain comes early as we head east from the start, and we're done with it by the time we're 5 miles into the ride. Then we head downhill with lots of little ups and downs over the rest of the route. We will ride at an average pace of about 11-14 mph, so not very fast. We might ride the flats at 14-16+mph, but the overall average pace will be in the 11-14 mph range. Let's meet at 9:30am Wednesday (7/6) and start riding at 9:45. Temps are supposed to be in the 80s while we ride, but we'll be done before it hits 90. 80s make nice riding temperatures since we create a cooling breeze while we ride. We might have a little wind, too, but not much. Should be sunny, so overall, a nice day to ride.
