road bike: sunday afternoon gilmer drive-holladay loop ride - May 22, 2022

Here's a nice 20 mile ride for Sunday afternoon. The weather forecast (as of Friday, the 20th) looks pretty good for Sunday (partly cloudy--so at least partly sunny, too, with a high near 70 degrees). If we wait until 1:00pm to meet, it looks like it'll warm up enough that we won't need to wear much extra clothing to keep comfortable while we ride. Anyway, here's the info about the ride. The route starts at South Salt Lake Central Park and heads north and east to pick up the McClelland trail, follows that north and picks up Gilmer Drive. It follows Gilmer to 1500 E, then heads south mostly on 1500 E and 1700 E until it picks up Parleys Trail. Then east on Parley's Trail, exiting at the connector between 2000E and 2300 E, then east on side streets to 2300 E. It follows 2300 E to Holladay, then works its way back north and west to the start, trying to use neighborhood and lesser travelled streets as much as possible.
