frary peak (antelope island) alpine ski tour (or maybe snowshoe) - January 29, 2023
This is an exploratory trip (I haven't been there, but I know others have) to Mt Frary on Antelope Island. It will be in conjunction of the family trip there the same day. Might be good snow to ski on, might be hiking things on your feet, might be better off on snowshoes, we'll find out. Ideally we'll summit. Avalanche gear (beacon, probe, shovel) and knowledge of how to use it required. Be prepared for whatever weather is predicted and whatever snow conditions we find. Pretty good chance some hiking with skis will be involved.
