national trails day hiking trail maintenance! - June 3, 2023
Please join us for National Trails Day with Cottonwood Canyons Foundation on Saturday, June 3rd! The event will go from 8:30 - 12:00. We will be pulling weeds and doing trail work on the new Ferguson to Big Cottonwood Canyon portion of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail (the trail is not officially open yet). We will be meeting at the Big Cottonwood Canyon Park and Ride 40.619546, -111.787151. Families and children (under supervision) are welcome to join too! Breakfast and coffee will be provided by the co-sponsors Alpha Coffee and Sam's Club. Remember to wear sturdy shoes, long sleeved shirts, and long pants.
