snowshoe/ski - peak 9095 (& more), west uintas - March 26, 2023
We plan to snowshoe or ski to Peak 9095 or somewhere in the West Uintas, weather, conditions and situation permitting. From Peak 9095, we hope to continue to Peak 9278 and Peak 9288 on the ridgeline. Please bring 10 Es, microspikes, and snowshoes. Avalanche safety gear (beacon, probe & shovel) is recommended but not required. I have an extra set of avalanche safety gear - if you want to use it, please let me know. Depending on a location, we can have skiers too. Skiers must carry avalanche safety gear. If there is not enough snow, we will hike. Please email before Friday, 6 pm, March 24, for the meeting place and time. Registration is required. Registration priority will be given to WMC members. Registrants will receive more detailed info. Limit 8.
