learn basic boating skills by practicing on a beautiful flat water lake - May 13, 2023
Join Eileen Gidley for a fun morning on the beautiful Bountiful Lake.It is a great place to practice before you go onto bigger and moving water.. The plan is to meet at Bountiful Lake at 9:am. We will have a short classroom session in the bowery then head to the boat ramp to put our boats in the water. For those that want to come early we will walk around the lake to see the wildlife . For those who want to carpool, we will designate a Salt Lake Meeting place. If you do not have a boat, please check with Donnie Benson or Bret Mathews. You can also rent boats at REI or the University of Utah Outdoor Progran. If you never learned to boat before, now is the time to learn. Questions about the activity should be directed to the organizer. Registration required
