heughs canyon waterfall hike - May 22, 2023
Come hiking from the base of Heughs Canyon Trail up to the first and second waterfall (optional). Getting to the first waterfall requires some scrambling over a rock field. From the first waterfall to the second waterfall also requires scrambling over a steep rock field. I am hoping to get a group photo for the Rambler in front of the waterfalls. If you want to be in the group picture I suggest wearing or bringing water shoes / waterproof trail shoes to avoid getting your feet wet because the stream is running very fast currently. Return hike to Brett Smith Memorial via Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Prompt departure from organizers' driveway at 9:00 AM. Email for the meeting place address.
