day hike park city ski resort area - September 30, 2023

We'll start near the base of First Time lift and hike up various multi-use trails, see some interesting mining remnants, learn about some Park City mining history, hike past Shadow Lake up to PineCone Ridge, loop around Guardsman Pass, re-ascend the Jupiter Peak bowl, follow a few ski runs down and hopefully take the scenic Crescent Chairlift down to the base, which should be free for the downride. Plan for a 7 to 8 hour day. There is no water along the trail, so bring all the food and drink you will need. Email me if you are interested so I can look out for you, but show-up and go is fine too.
