snowshoe/ski- guardsman peak (10,045 ft) via scotts pass & guardsmans pass, bcc - February 7, 2026
We plan to snowshoe/ski to Guardsman Peak (10,045 ft) via Scotts Pass and Guardsman's Pass in BCC, weather, conditions and situation permitting. Please bring 10 Es, microspikes, and snowshoes/skis. Avalanche safety gear (beacon, probe & shovel) is recommended but not required for snowshoers, and is required for skiers. I have an extra set of avalanche safety gear - if you want to use it, please let me know. Please email before Friday, 6 pm, Feb 6, for the meeting place and time. Registration is required. Registration priority will be given to WMC members. Registrants will receive more detailed info. Limit 8.
