Seven skiers met in Kamas and drove to the Wolf Creek area to enjoy a day of instructional conversations and low risk skiing under beautiful skies. We reviewed departure check, practiced making enjoyable skin tracks, shared pointers for transitioning and skiing, and debriefed at Mirror Lake Diner. At the diner we shared resources to continue our education in medical skills, avalanche safety, and tour planning and mapping.
