Alpine Ski Tour: Soapstone Loop from SR35 - Uintas
Neil, Waller, David, Paola, and Sid skinned up soapstone pass to the peak of soapstone mountain. A route we had been scouting for the past couple of weeks. We enjoyed a quick lunch in a patch of trees, shielding us from the freezing wind and light snow that day. We had some nice low angle pow turns and navigated our way to a cleared path above a pipeline leading us back to our pickup car at Nobletts. We then finished the day with food, friendly banter, and a debrief at Mirror Lake Diner.
