Teton/Yellowstone Car camp

Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks are in credible places for car camping, day hiking and rafting And both have fantastic campgrounds. This year, we spent 3 nights at Colter Bay in the Tetons, and 4 nights at Canyon Village and the last 3 nights at Madison in Yellowstone. Some people came for the entire 10 nights of camping while others joined us at only 1 or 2 of the campsites.

We have plan to have happy hours each night where we make and discuss plans for the next day. So, on this trip we had some people rafting the Snake River in GTNP while others were doing hikes of their choice.
Noteable hikes in the Tetons were the Two Ocean Lake-Grandview Point and the hike from String Lake to Leigh, Trapper and Bearpaw Lakes.
In Yellowstone, the standout hikes were the Sepulcher Mountain loop and the 21 mile Mary Mtn Trail.
We encountered some rain, getting drenched a couple times. But overall, the weather was very suitable for hiking. Great group and trip overall.
