road bike and car camp, huntington canyon - August 14, 2026
We've car camped and rode routes from the campground at least a couple of times in past years and there are options for short rides to a long day. The campground is at an elevation of about 7,700 ft so it's a great place to get out of the August heat! I booked a group site for Friday and Saturday nights that can accommodate a large group and up to 8 vehicles. The site was inexpensive so likely only around $10 per person depending on the group size.
