trail work day at fitness den (climbing meeting/social/dry tool) - August 30, 2026

Jon Jugenheimer put a long overdue day of trail work in the Utah Ice Climbers Facebook group, and we should go help out! If you've climbed up there, you know it needs some love. The plan is to build some retaining walls, and Jon thinks if we get 10 folks to show up for the day, we can get it done. Bring your tools just in case we'd like to get a lap or two in afterward! Details from Facebook Event: Ice/mixed/drytool climbers of Provo Canyon. Work day scheduled for Sunday August 30th for trail maintenance. Meet at the parking lot at 9am to haul up tools and lumber. We need to shore up the trail around the Fitness Den before it all erodes away. Work till it's done, and Jon has offered to flip burgers on the grill back at the lot after as a thank you! Let's get the season started!
