rock climb - trad tuesday @ east gate buttress - August 4, 2026

LCC granite climbing on the east side and face of Gate Buttress. This area includes the 5 Fingers area, Dihedrals, and the east face. Classic lines include Tingey's Terror, Tarzan, Beckey's Wall, and more. Trad lines from 5.6 to hard. Helmets required. Approach may have a short technical section, so excellent approach footwear recommended, or plan to put on your rock shoes early. Headlamps suggested in case it gets dark before we get down. All skill levels welcome.
