drytooling - the scrap yard bcc - August 6, 2026

The middle of summer is the perfect time to bust out the ice tools! Come scratch around on rock at the Scrap Yard in BCC. It's a great place for some fitness laps or learning how to use ice tools on rock. We're planning on doing some route maintenance / development work as well, if that's of interest.

Bring gear for top rope climbing, including helmets, and ice tools if you have them (I have extra tools if needed). Boots and crampons are optional, or climbing shoes work great. 2-minute approach on easy ground, but the climbs themselves are short and stout!
