full - rock climb - squamish, bc - August 9, 2026

Squamish (British Columbia, Canada) is a fantastic area that features endless, perfect granite climbing that is basically roadside. If you want to crag, no problem. If you want to climb a 15 pitch classic, no problem. Squamish has it all, including lots of rain. Just hope it doesn't rain (much) during our visit. The majority of climbing is trad, but there is sport too.

Travel

Fly to Vancouver. Direct flights are available with rewards points. I can help you find these. Rent cars and drive up to Squamish (1.5 hrs).

Camping

Camp at MTN FUN Base Camp. I've booked a site for Sunday-Saturday. Spend Saturday night in a hotel near Vancouver airport.
