beginner-friendly nordic ski tour - bonanza flat - February 1, 2026

Due to lack of snow, this activity was moved to Bonanza Flat. This is a very beginner-friendly, groomed cross-country ski area with lots of miles of trails. I'm planning to bring a pair of skating skis, which is new to me so I might be a little clunky. I'll also have classic skis in case my skating is a complete failure. Skis can be rented from various places in town. No avalanche gear is needed for this as we will not be in any avalanche terrain. I'm planning to get up there at 9AM and spend 3-4 hours.
