drytool climb - indoors at the scratch pad bountiful - February 16, 2026

Join us at Utah's only Drytooling gym - The Scratch Pad, an indoor gym specializing in using ice tools on plastic. This is a great place to get fit for climbing ice or mixed routes outdoors. No experience required!

You'll want to bring the following items, TSP has rentals available if needed:

- rock climbing shoes
- helmet
- light grippy gloves (golf gloves work well)
- ice tools (pair - no adze)
- eye protection (glasses OK)
- harness, belay device, and rope optional

Day, membership, and rental rates available on the TSP website. Email or text me if you wish to carpool from SLC. The entrance can be hard to find - use the double doors at the inside corner of the building and go down the stairs.
