snowshoe: soapstone via iron mine (uintas) - February 22, 2026
We will start at Nobletts and take the Iron Mine Trail toward Soapstone. This will be an out-and-back tour at a pace that keeps the group together, with a firm turnaround time of 1:30 pm. There is no set mileage or destination.
We will not be traveling through or under avalanche terrain, so avalanche safety equipment will not be required.
This tour is dependent on SR35 being open.
After the tour, those interested may stop at Mirror Lake Diner.
