full! alpine ski tour: silver meadows area - uintas - February 8, 2026

THIS ACTIVITY IS FULL.
Plan is to tour in the Silver Meadows Road area (FR174) near Wolf Creek Pass (SR35). Let's get some skinning mileage (up to 5 miles) while also skiing a couple of short low-angle lines. Avalanche rescue gear is required and please read the UAC Uintas forecast morning of this activity. This area is mostly gentle terrain appropriate for non-expert skiers.

After the tour, those interested may gather at Mirror Lake Diner. Please RSVP via email, and I will share the meet-up time at Kamas Food Town. No parking pass is required.

This tour is dependent on SR35 being open.
