snowshoe: silver meadows road (uintas) - February 8, 2026

We plan to explore the Silver Meadows Road area (FR174) near Wolf Creek Pass (SR35). There is no set mileage or destination, and we will turn around at 1:30 pm. This will be an out-and-back tour, so all paces are welcome. We will not be traveling on or under potential avalanche terrain. Avalanche safety gear is not required.

After the tour, those interested may stop at Mirror Lake Diner. Please RSVP via email, and I will share the meet-up time at Kamas Food Town. No parking pass is required.

This snowshoe is dependent on SR35 being open.
