desolation canyon- white water rafting - July 18, 2026
This is a 6 day 84 mile rafting trip through Desolation Canyon. We will launch at the Sand Wash boat ramp and take out at Swasey's Beach near the town of Green River, UT. Duckies and passengers are welcome. There is currently only 1 shuttle company operating a shuttle. We may be able to do our own shuttle. Camping is available the night before the launch at the Sand Wash put in. This section of the Green River has Class II-III rapids and is supposed to be a good stepping stone into the more difficult Western Rivers. July temps will be hot, shade will be important and flows may be low. Please see the attached link for trip information
