rock climb - tanner's gulch - July 3, 2026
LCC granite climbing. Meet early for more time to play in the mountains. Helmets required. A moderate approach hike up the gulch suggests good hiking footwear. Trad and sport routes from 5.6 to 5.hard, with some multi-pitch options available. There are a number of walls up the gulch to climb, and the narrow gulch walls provide shade by early afternoon. If the stream is still above ground, it provides some cooling and cute waterfalls.
