ice climb uintas - November 21, 2026
TBD based on ice/road conditions and interest level, but wanted to get something on the calendar for November. Goal would be to shake the dust off the tools on some fun and easy stuff. Great area for beginners (and beginner leaders).
Plan would be to drive up early Saturday morning and head to the Mosquito (November) wall for the day. Camp at a dispersed spot that night. Climb Cobblerest and hard to find on the way out Sunday morning. Stop at that one diner in Kamas (you know which one I mean).
As we all know, it all depends on the weather and if the highway is still open. So, it could get cancelled. Could get moved to a different spot. It's ice climbing in Utah... tough to plan for.
