drytooling exploration in willard canyon - October 24, 2026
Planning a day trip to Willard Canyon (North of Ogden) to scope out a possible drytooling crag. This is an exploratory outing on potentially unclimbed rock, so the only guarantee is a bit of adventure. That said, I've looked at the spot a couple times and I'm optimistic we can find some good lines. We'll get to check out the Willard Canyon Waterfall (WI2, 5P) while there - but there's a snowball's chance of it being in this early.
It's a modest hike, and plan on hauling some extra static rope and development tools. Let me know if you need tools. Email to register.
