Day Hike to Lake Blanche June 19, 2023
Al, Jim and Andy take advantage of a nice window in the weather to hike up to the lake now that the trail has largely melted out. This hike turned into an opportunity to do some trail maintenance, Andy and Jim were itching to use their hand saws!
We encountered first downed tree right after we started on the paved walkway next to the creek. The roaring creek had undercut an aspen on the opposite bank which fell all the way across to the path
