Trip Report: Hike Mineral Fork

Hike Mineral Fork

Six hikers walking boldly up into rather murky grey clouds. One other hiker passed us, as did two ORVs. (They're permitted in Mineral Fork.)

We got a couple of miles up to the open area where the mines become visible. Beyond that, the snow was fairly thick, mostly the remains of a slide.

The murky clouds became steady rain, cold rain, just about the time we were ready to come down. What took us two hours to get up took just over 45 minutes to get down. Nothing like the incentive of cold rain!

If I could figure out how the photo link thingie worked, I'd post the four tolerable photos I took.
