| We enjoyed a beautiful day and very pleasant company for this hike in Big Cottonwood Canyon! The group made good time going up Day's Fork, and we were having such a good time that we continued along the trail across the west bowl of Silver Fork to the ridge above Little Cottonwood for lunch. We then followed the trail along the ridge to Davenport Hill between the east and west bowls of Silver Fork. Descent was via the west bowl and down Silver Fork. Participants were Dan DeMarco, Tom Mitko, Tracy Riddle, Marcus Simon, Cindy Wolfe and Dave Smith (organizer). |
