The car thermometer read 103F; group decided for a shadier hike and headed down the Telegraph trail for a nice evening stroll. We had some great views of the valley below and Utah Lake. Julie pointed out a Sego Lily (state flower) and explained that it was a food source back in the pioneer days. We enjoyed great conversation and took a few breaks to cool down a bit. While quite warm, it was a very nice hike to start off the week.
