| For the second time I hiked this trail alone. Better alone than in bad company, they say. I am never in bad company when I hike with any of the WMC members! It is fun to spend those few hours together to know each other. As I said I was hiking alone and I crossed only 2 families on the way up. The trail that time of the day at 7 pm, is all in the shade. A few scrambling spots but nothing that a 5 years could not handle, so easy enough. It is very a peaceful and a magical hike, I won't say more. The creek with its rushing water is always on your side while you are hiking up. There a couple of swings on the trail and it is there I stopped to rest. Can you find the swings? This hike is about 25 min north of Salt Lake City in Centerville it is no further than any other hikes in the valley with at least 20-25 min drive. I hope this was not the reason and discouraged people to come. It is worth it, I feel. There will be other opportunities as I like this hike a lot and you will be surprised if you give it a try. Happy Hiking! |
