| Jim led a couple of us snowshoers to the top of Little Water Peak on Sunday. We got a lucky break in the weather which had been raining and snowing most of the weekend. Some of the route was tracked out by snowshoers and skiers. But we eventually had to break our own trail, sometimes sinking to our thighs. The summit was cold and windy so we snapped our picture and moved on. We descended down the other side which took us through a beautiful aspen forest. The whole loop was 8 miles. |
