| It was still hot at the trailhead at 6:30 pm and I had the most participants yet. Mark Tuttle knows this hike very well he has taken with his wife. Ben Greennan was an amazing dad carrying his boy and baby girl to this hike one pn his back and the other on his chest. The hike is steep at the beginning but flattens once you reach the prairie and you see the pond. Ellis, Ben's son, had great fun playing with Tony by the pond to the point that he did not want to be carried on the back on the way down he wanted to walk. Ray was si sweet at one point he was feeding little baby a bottle of baby milk. The light was perfect and shine on the the very many Aspen trees. Yijia was very well covered up her face to protect from sun, bugs and whatever. We all took a nice picture by the pond. They were all very surprised at the end of the hike. |
