| We had a lovely hike to the suspension bridge from Hidden Valley park and just enough tragedy to make it interesting. Ben's wife Sarah fell asleep and couldn't attend. Andrea's kids got sick the night before. Erin's husband David started up the trail, but turned back due to knee trouble. Aditi teetered on the bridge but eventually made it across. Joel parked at the Orson Smith trailhead but found us anyway. You can see the big smiles all around on the great pic by Erin. On the way back Ellis lost Ben's gloves and Ben slipped and broke the tail of Ellis's toy dinosaur. We will remember this hike a long time thanks everyone! |
