| It was just 3 of us: Julie, Tony and I. First time on this trail for Julie and she liked it a lot. It runs along a creek in the shade. The leaves already turning, the yellow leaves of the Aspen accentuating the bright yellow of the sun. A little scrambling over rocks and fun. The swing is still there and we all three tried to swing but too close to a tree and so bumping in was the only thing you could do. There were 2 swings at one time and they have been cut down and put up again several times throughout the years. My kids used to swing on in their teenage years and who knows what else they were doing with their friends. I don't want to know. Anyway, it is a lovely hike. I hope more members will join when I organize it next to me. |
