| WMC partnered with the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation for an Earth Day cleanup in Millcreek Canyon on Saturday, April 19. Knick Knickerbocker, Dave Andrenyak, and Daisy DeMarco participated in the event helping clean up the Church Fork and Box Elder picnic areas. Participants cleaned out fire pits, picked up trash, and cleared debris from sites. It was a beautiful day in the canyon, and a great way to celebrate the lands we love and to work along side CCF and the Forest Service. Please consider coming out and joining the Trail Maintenance crew for more events this summer and fall. We have plant volunteer events coming up on May 22 and May 29. Come kick off the summer season by volunteering with us on National Trails Day on June 7. Reach out with any questions or if you are interested in volunteering! |
