| Thank you to everyone who showed up for our Earth Day Trail Maintenance with Cottonwood Canyons Foundation in April. One of our largest showings yet, with nearly 20 WMC members and their friends coming out to support our local lands. The weather was perfect and the weeds were everywhere. We participated in an invasive weed pull at Bells Canyon trailhead, and pulled over 1500 pounds of garlic mustard! We love our partnership with CCF and look forward to two more co-sponsored trail maintenance events this year. Check the calendar for more details on our next event on June 6th to celebrate National Trails Day. We also have a newly posted trail maintenance event with Save Our Canyons on Saturday, July 18th. These are awesome opportunities to give back to the lands we love! |
