We had a great weekend floating on the Green River below Flaming Gorge! 12 of us joined for this weekend in a mix of packrafts, duckies, oar rigs, and hardshell kayaks. We successfully ran section A (spillway boat ramp to little hole) twice on Saturday, the 11th, and section B (Little Hole to Indian Crossing) once on Sunday, navigating the rapids and enjoying two gorgeous days on the river.

For Saturday, we ran our own shuttle between the put-in and take-out since they're pretty close to each other. Note that on a summer weekend like this, the spillway put-in is extremely crowded, and it will take a while to drive your boats down. Sunday, we had one of the local fly shops shuttle cars from the put-in to the take-out for us. It was about $100/car, and there are multiple shops in Dutch John that offer this. We were able to show up the morning of and book the shuttle with no issue. We dispersed camped about 20-30 minutes from both put-ins at a lovely site right on the Flaming Gorge reservoir (40.99240251, -109.51891828).
