On June 4, Climb Like A Girl headed to Reservoir Ridge, sharing the area with helicopters cycling through search and rescue operations in the surrounding canyons. Thankfully, all rescue efforts concluded successfully, and everyone was brought safely down from the mountain.

The climbing was just as exciting as the aerial activity overhead. Newer leader Sunjana confidently led Iraq In The Back Attack, a fun 5.6 that proved a perfect stepping stone for building outdoor lead experience. Another up-and-coming crusher, Michelle, sent a 5.7 featuring a surprisingly heady overhung undercling move just above the first bolt.

Kelsey celebrated her "first" trad lead, adding another milestone to an evening full of personal achievements. We also welcomed several first-time participants to the club, continuing the Climb Like A Girl tradition of creating an encouraging space for climbers to learn, grow, and challenge themselves.

With great company, successful sends, and a happy ending for everyone involved - climbers and rescuees alike - it was another fantastic evening at the crag.
