alpine ski tour: mill hollow reservoir area - uintas - February 15, 2026

Plan is to tour in the Mill Hollow area (FR054) near Wolf Creek Pass (SR35). Let's get some skinning mileage while also skiing some low-angle lines. The line I have previously skied in this area is forested and participants need to be comfortable skiing tight trees. Avalanche rescue gear is required and please read the UAC Uintas forecast morning of this activity.

After the tour, those interested may gather at Mirror Lake Diner. Please RSVP via email, and I will share the meet-up time at Kamas Food Town. No parking pass is required.

This tour is dependent on SR35 being open and is dependent on low to moderate avalanche risk on relevant aspects and elevation.
