pre-party hike to the top of houndstooth - November 7, 2026

It's time to knock this one out before more snow comes in. This is a relatively short MSD hike, but it's CRAZY STEEP (2,800 in 2 miles). The hike will somewhat follow the ridge to the "gum" of the Houndstooth, with a short scramble through the not-so-secret-anymore sweet spot that leads to the top. Expect approximately 6 hours or so of hiking time so we can make it back in time for the Volunteer Appreciation Banquet
