day hike - cascade mt or maple mt, provo - October 25, 2026
We plan to hike to Cascade Mountain (10,908 ft) and North Cascade (10,874 ft). Anticipate scrambling, exposure, and a moderate pace. Please bring 10 essentials and micro-spikes. If there is lots of snow, we may need to carry snowshoes. Expect an early morning start. If the road to the TH is closed for winter before Oct 25, we will hike to Maple Mt (9094 ft) in Provo. Please email before Friday, 6 pm, Oct 23, for the meeting place and time. Registration is required. Registration priority will be given to WMC members. Registrants will receive more detailed info. Limit 8.
