social - halloween party at the lodge - October 25, 2026
While we would prefer to host this on a Friday or Saturday, this was the only date available near Halloween.
Location & Parking - Park in the Brighton parking lot. Walk to the far right side corner of the parking lot, look for the Wasatch Mountain Club Banner and then follow the pumpkins up the trail to the lodge. We recommend wearing appropriate shoes and bringing a light if you are arriving/leaving after dark.
Entertainment - We are excited to share that club member Shawn Whiting has graciously offered his DJ expertise for the evening.
Volunteers - We are also looking for volunteers to assist with setting up and taking down decorations.
Entry Fee - Tickets purchased thru Fri, Oct 23 are $10, and tickets purchased (Sat-Sun) Oct 24-25 are $15. Tickets are non-refundable. See the ticket link below.
Food - The Club will provide appetizers. BYOB beverage, and you're welcome to bring a dish or snack to share.
Lodging - Avoid the drive back to Salt Lake City by booking a room at the Brighton Lodge for a discounted rate of $134 (tax included) through October 24. Standard rates apply on October 25. Call Monica at 385-799-5510 to reserve
We will have a ruffle with a prize for the scariest, the sexiest, the funniest, the cutest, and most unusual costumes
